In its sixth weekend at the box office, writer and director Simon Kinberg’s DARK PHOENIX landed at number 28 on the domestic charts with $197,992 from 200 theaters. That’s a -55.3% drop from the previous weekend.
In foreign markets, it has pulled in over $186.4 million, bringing its current worldwide total thus far to an estimated $251.5 million.
Unfortunately Dark Phoenix is nowhere near topping any other film in the X-Men film series, which includes the Wolverine and Deadpool solo films.
The film will arrive on Digital HD September 3, with the Blu-ray/DVD release slated for September 17.
