In its eighth weekend of release, 20th Century Fox’s DARK PHOENIX brought in $121,210 from 145 domestic theaters, remaining at #25 on the box office charts. That’s a -35.3% drop from last weekend. It now stands at $65.6 million in the USA.
Internationally, the film is at $186.6 million, upping its worldwide haul to an estimated $252.2 million.
Dark Phoenix sits between Blade and 2015’s Fantastic Four on Marvel Comic movies’ all-time box office list. For X-Men films, it’s the lowest-grossing movie out of the entire franchise which includes Wolverine and Deadpool.
The Simon Kinberg-directed film will continue to play in remaining theaters in August, with its Digital HD and home video release slated for September 3 and September 17, respectively.
