20th Century Studios has released three new photos from THE NEW MUTANTS focusing on Blu Hunt’s Dani Moonstar. The images show the character in a couple moments, the first, in what appears to be a cafeteria at the “hospital” she and her fellow patients/inmates are being held at against their will. She doesn’t look too enthused by the glass of water and whatever’s in that bowl – do you think Alice Braga’s Dr. Cecilia Reyes is serving the tasty meal??
The second photo shows her in an attic surrounded by various objects. We believe this is an area where the young mutants gather to escape Dr. Reyes’ watchful eye, but little do they know she’s monitoring them wherever they go.
The third, is a bear necklace that Dani wears throughout the film. Obviously she has an attachment to bears, but she’s not going to be too fond of the Demon Bear that wrecks havoc on her and the young mutants.
The New Mutants arrives in theaters April 3, 2020.
