Here are new profile photos of THE NEW MUTANTS stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Charlie Heaton as Illyana Rasputin aka Magik and Sam Guthrie aka Cannonball, respectively. They come from the film’s social media accounts, which previously gave us looks at remaining cast members Blu Hunt as Dani Moonstar aka Mirage, Henry Zaga as Roberto da Costa aka Sunspot and Maisie Williams as Rahne Sinclair aka Wolfsbane.

In the comics, Illyana is the young sister of Russian X-Man Colossus. She has the ability to teleport through time and space, although she must travel through the Limbo dimension as a midway point each time. She’s also a very capable sorceress supreme and has the ability to summon the powerful Soulsword, as seen in the latest trailer.

Kentucky-born Sam is a mutant with the ability to generate thermo-chemical energy and release it from his body, allowing him to propel himself and other objects to great heights.

The New Mutants arrives in theaters April 3, 2020.
