With just a few weeks to go, 20th Century Studios’ THE NEW MUTANTS is ramping up promotion for director Josh Boone’s upcoming X-Men horror thriller spin-off. There a new TV spot which features Illyana Rasputin aka Magik (Anya Taylor-Joy) opening a portal – revealing Limbo – and fighting the villainous Demon Bear.
There are also new character profile videos featuring the young mutants Rahne Sinclair aka Wolfsbane (Maisie Williams), Dani Moonstar aka Mirage (Blu Hunt), Sam Guthrie aka Cannonball (Charlie Heaton) and Roberto da Costa aka Sunspot (Henry Zaga).
The New Mutants has been pushed back to an unspecified due to Coronavirus concerns…………………………………………………………………….
When strange occurrences begin to take place in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants are being held for psychiatric monitoring, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.
Never been really familiar with Magik, but she really stands out from the rest. I like her wittiness.
