G4 has announced a Friday, July 29th American premiere for the upcoming WOLVERINE anime series, which airs at 11:30PM EST. The show consists of twelve half-hour weekly episodes, which feature Milo Ventimiglia voicing the title role.
An X-MEN anime will follow WOLVERINE later this year.
Based on the popular graphic novel by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller, WOLVERINE begins when Mariko, the love of Logan’s life, is forced back to Japan by her crime-lord father, Shingen. Logan vows to get her back at any cost. He is plunged into a chaotic world of corruption and violence, forcing him to team up with young assassin, Yukio, to battle their way through the Japanese criminal underworld.

Anime is better than cartoon.
Honestly… at least cartoons have decent animation. Anime is like watching a comic book with some few fluent movements… it always takes me out of the plots. I really tried to watch anime in the past but simply could not adapt to the style.
Now if they made a CGI series (a la “The Clone Wars” or “Transformers”) that would be interesting.
It is not. animae is life less and flat.
The old Hanna Barbara cartoons had more personality, and were made in the USA.

I have seen all the episodes of the x-men anime and let me tell you its first season is better than all the x-men movies besides x2 and x first class. the story telling is exceptional and the art is serious. X-men fans should defienetly check it out instead of passing on it because they don’t like anime, when in all honesty the animations in this is of the scale in comparison to the 90s cartoon x-men evolution and wolverine and the x-men. And they do not hold back on the violence, which makes it even more better. check it out guys when it gets english dubs. Is it getting english dubs

Now for something serious, I can’t take that comment serious at all. Cartoon characters have shit animation, they look too loose, too stiff, or look like they’re having a seizure.
Also most cartoons are outsourced to korea/ done cheaply. Those “c*rtoons” you talk about are actually anime that a Japanese studio did but was not credited because americunts are assholes. Like you…. now resume your watching of your shitty cartoon.. Oh you a brony I herd you liek fluttershy… XD
