People around the globe are celebrating #XMenDay! The annual holiday was created by 20th Century Studios in 2019 to honor their long-running film series based off Marvel Comics’ iconic X-MEN series. Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, the legendary comic has connected emotionally with fans worldwide. The big screen franchise was just as popular, with 13 films being released over 20 years, which included WOLVERINE, DEADPOOL and THE NEW MUTANTS spin-offs. With the film rights now at Marvel Studios and The Walt Disney Company, a Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot is in the pipeline. What comes next for the The Mutants? Only time will tell!
Here are a few of our favorite posts on Twitter celebrating this special day.
