Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige made a surprise cameo in Marvel Comics X-MEN #21 during a scene taking place at the highly-anticipated Hellfire Gala. “So…what’s your story?” says the Feige doppelganger. “Well…it’s complicated,” replies Cyclops in his gala threads.
Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
It’s anyone’s guess if Feige was actually clued in on this appearance or if it was a surprise to him.
20th Century Fox/Studios’ successful 20-year mutant franchise is now home under Disney/Marvel and fans are anxiously awaiting the future reboot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There’s no word when that’ll happen, but the studio already has plans to reboot FANTASTIC FOUR by 2024. The Mutants can’t be too far behind that! It’s likely we’ll see DEADPOOL appear onscreen years before X-Men proper is revealed to the world, although individual characters can begin sprouting up in the MCU via film and Disney+ much sooner rather than later.
