“There’s no truth in it at all.” says KINGSMAN actor Taron Egerton of rumors re: him following Hugh Jackman as the new WOLVERINE. “There’s no truth in it. It would, be, obviously, really exciting, but I don’t know,” he replied when asked by Alex Jones of The One Show via Digital Spy.
Would he be interested in tackling the role?
“Yeah, of course. That’s like playing Bond,” he replied. “It would be exciting to play a role where you play to by such a huge audience. Those movies are the most watched movies in the world. It’s a great thrill and it’s a great part. But there’s no truth in it. Very flattering, though.”
Fans wonder if Wolverine will have a cameo in Marvel Studios’ upcoming DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS? There’s a swirl of rumors, with some suggesting we might see Jackman onscreen, or even another actor as a Logan variant. It’s anyone’s guess at this point, as pretty much everyone is being rumored for an appearance.
