Leslie Uggams likely to return in Blind Al role in DEADPOOL 3.

It looks like we might see Leslie Uggams as Blind Al return in Marvel Studios’ DEADPOOL 3! The Deadpool and Deadpool 2 actress recently praised director Shawn Levy’s new Netflix movie The Adam Project, while noting that he’s directing the third ‘merc with a mouth’ entry starring Ryan Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds then retweeted her, saying “Thank you, Leslie. See you soon ⚔️⚔️⚔️” with three sword emojis. Uggams and Reynolds had great chemistry, so it’d be a pleasure seeing her return for another round.

There’s no official word on which other existing supporting characters will follow. Zazie Beetz was asked about Domino, and so was Morena Baccarin re: Vanessa. Then you have Josh Brolin’s Cable, Karan Soni’s Dopinder, TJ Miller’s Weasel, Brianna Hildebrand’s Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shiori Kutsuna’s Yukio, Stefan Kapičić’s Colossus, Julian Dennison’s Rusty, and Rob Delaney’s Peter, among others.

Deadpool 3 is planned to start principal photography in 2023.
