Ryan Reynolds working on his fitness ahead of filming DEADPOOL 3.

@DeadpoolMovie shared a photo of Ryan Reynolds getting personal training from fitness guru Don Saladino, who “helps get actors cover ready for some of your favorite movies.” Production on DEADPOOL 3 is expected to begin early next year, if not earlier, with Shawn Levy (Free Guy) on board to direct and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returning.

Given what we know about Marvel Studios Phase 5 and Phase 6, it’s believed the merc with a mouth’s MCU debut film will release in late Winter/Spring 2024. An official announcement is rumored to take place at Disney’s D23 Expo on September 10 with Marvel President and producer Kevin Feige.

Deadpool 3 is reportedly a co-production between Marvel Studios, 20th Century Studios, and Reynolds’ Maximum Effort production company and digital marketing agency. Writers Reese and Wernick previously stated their writing the film with an R rating in mind.
