The Walt Disney Company revealed today that THE NEW MUTANTS will arrive on Disney+ on Friday, October 14! Director Josh Boone’s mutant spin-off has been streaming on HBO Max since its theatrical run in 2020. Facing a slew of release date changes and finally being released during the height of the pandemic, the 20th Century Studio film earned $49 million worldwide.
The film follows Dani Moonstar (Blu Hunt) as she arrives to a facility for mutants who are considered dangerous to themselves and the public. At the lead of Dr. Reyes (Alice Braga), Dani learns about her growing power alongside peers Rahne (Maisie Williams), Illyana (Anya Taylor-Joy), Roberto (Henry Zaga), and Sam (Charlie Heaton).
