X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST (2014) brought together two legendary casts for a thrilling adaption of Marvel’s iconic storyline. In the film, Kitty Pryde (Elliot Page) sends Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back in time to warn Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) of a dark future. At the request of Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen), Logan finds their younger selves to stop Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) from causing an event that changes mutant lives forever.
Patrick Stewart appears as Professor X across eight films, which includes the X-Men and Wolverine trilogies, including Days of Future Past. and his MCU cameo. James McAvoy leads the ‘First Class’ renaissance as younger Charles Xavier in five films, with a cameo in Deadpool 2. Ian McKellen thrills as Magneto five films – The Wolverine cameo included – with four appearances from Michael Fassbender.
