Will Hugh Jackman portray multiple versions of Wolverine in DEADPOOL 3? Speaking with French trade Le Parisien, the longtime ‘X-Men’ actor said: “Yes, it will even be a dual role. Ryan and I have been friends for 20 years, we have a lot of fun together. We are filming this summer.”
The translated quote can be perceived in various ways, but Jackman appearing as more than one version of Logan makes sense with time travel and the infinite multiverse. Maybe a Wolverine variant will wear the comic accurate blue and gold suit? Maybe another will run amok in yellow and brown with Alpha Flight? Then there’s the zombie… hey, the possibilities are endless!
Marvel Studios’ first R-rated film begins filming this May through October in Vancouver, BC, Canada and London, UK with director Shawn Levy (Free Guy, The Adam Project) and star Ryan Reynolds for a November 8, 2024 theatrical release.
