Hugh Jackman continues his training to get in top shape for DEADPOOL 3. “Sleep. Train. Eat. Recover. Repeat,” wrote the Wolverine actor on his Instagram along with the hashtag #BecomingWolverineAgain. Jackman’s been using that phrase recently, and we wonder if it’ll be utilized within DP3 itself. In the meta-world of Deadpool, you never know!
Jackman can be seen in the posted video hyping himself up before making the plunge into the cold ocean waters. What’s the benefit of this? According to WebMD, cold-water swimmers often experience significant improvements in overall cardiovascular health. Cold-water immersion triggers a “shock response” that stresses the cardiovascular system and elevates the heart rate – a chief goal of high-intensity heart-healthy exercise.
In a much more boring post, some guy named Ryan Reynolds posted a photo of himself standing in the gym doing nothing. “Keeping up with the Jackmans,” he joked, with a smug look on his Canadian face.
