Chloe Bailey wants STORM role in Marvel Studios’ X-Men cinematic universe.

Singer and ‘Swarm’ actress Chloe Bailey expressed continued interest in portaying Storm in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In relation to her sister Halle being Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Collider asked which animated Disney character she’d like to bring into live-action. “I don’t know about a live-action, but I want to be Storm in Marvel, and Disney owns Marvel, so…”

Last year, Bailey told Variety “I’ve always wanted to be a superhero, and [Storm’s] my favorite one, so you can fill in the blanks. She is just so fierce and sexy and strong – all of the things I want to be – and she’s beautiful at the same time. And she doesn’t take any shit.”

OG actress Halle Berry even backed Bailey, once tweeting “She’s taking it.”

It’s unknown when Marvel Studios begins casting for the next iteration of X-MEN. From what we know, they’re giving FoXverse characters some love over the next few years before getting the ball rolling. Many believe after The Multiverse Saga will come The Mutant Saga, and that would make a lot of sense.
