After dressing as the weather-manipulating mutant Storm for Halloween, singer and actress Chloe Bailey told Variety that she wants a go with the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “I’ve always wanted to be a superhero, and she’s my favorite one, so you can fill in the blanks.”
“She’s taking it,” said OG X-Men actress Halle Berry in a supportive tweet.
Explaining why she loves the character, Bailey said “She is just so fierce and sexy and strong — all of the things I want to be — and she’s beautiful at the same time. And she doesn’t take any shit.”
Her sister Halle, who’s starring in The Little Mermaid for Disney, also shared interest in portraying the character last September at D23.
