Deadline reports that Rob Delaney is officially signed to return as Peter in DEADPOOL 3 for Marvel Studios. The simply human X-Force member met a quick demise, but was shown at the end of DP2 being saved by the time-traveling merc with a mouth, preventing him from being eaten alive by fellow teammate Zeitgeist’s acid vomit.
Delaney joins returning cast members (confirmed so far) Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Morena Baccarin (Vaness), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Karan Soni (Dopinder), and Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), with newcomers Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen.
Deadpool 3 begins filming soon with director Shawn Levy for a November 8, 2024 theatrical release. It was written by original scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, with Zeb Wells. Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux penned an early draft.
