Reports are spreading online that Naturi Naughton has landed the role of Dr. Cecilia Reyes (Wiki) in THE WOLVERINE. Kelly Hu is also reportedly returning as Yuriko/ Deathstrike. But Hu herself confirmed to Maximo that “I’m actually not in it. It’s all over IMDB and everybody’s talking about it, but nobody is contacting me.”
Naughton’s name popped up on the many time unreliable IMDB with Hu and Ken Wantanabe.
Take these castings with a big grain of salt for now.

They have to bring back Kelly Hu she was good in X2.

Hey Cyber, you know that THE WOLVERINE is a follow-up to X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE but still a prequel to X2, right?
They can have Deathstrike in there… no problem with that. But Wolverine will have to lose his memory once more or they will have to work around that to avoid a plothole in X2.

This is not a follow up to Wolverine X-MEN Origins. They have scrapped that storry all togehter. This is being treated as yes a prequel to X-Men 1, 2, and 3 but has nothing to do with Wolverine X-men Origins, nor does X-Men First Class have anything to do With WXO.
