the SUPER🦸: Watch official trailer for Marvel Studios’ THE MARVELS

the SUPER🦸 — Marvel Studios premiered a new trailer for THE MARVELS at the end of Day 1 of Comic Con International in San Diego. Although the studio won’t be hosting any panels at the 4-day event due to SAG-AFTRA/WGA strikes, they’re making the most of it! This trailer is an improvement over the first teaser, which didn’t look as cinematic – likely due to visual effects still being worked on. The amount of Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) here makes this feel more like a sequel to ‘Captain Marvel’ () than a detour, with her taking a backseat. Paired with Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and new mutant Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), they’re a powerhouse trio of marvelous superheroes.

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

The film also stars Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Park Seo-joon, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson. Directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman); written by Megan McDonnell, DaCosta, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells; produced by Kevin Feige, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, Jonathan Schwartz and Matthew Jenkins serving as executive producers.

Are you eXcited for The Marvels? The film flies into theaters on November 10.
