Rapper and actor Method Man has shared interest in portraying the mutant Bishop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Speaking with Cassius, the Power Book II: Ghost star said “Those guys at the MCU, they know their stuff. I haven’t had any problems with any of their casting choices so far. So whoever gets the job… I think Omar Sy did an excellent job as Bishop, but that was before MCU,” he said of the X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST casting. “If they chose him again, I think he’d kill it. There’s a few people out there. But if they’re willing to give me a shot, I’d go for it. Plus, I’ve done all the research already.”
Marvel Studios is expected to dive into X-MEN proper after the FoXverse mutants gets their flowers in DEADPOOL 3 and AVENGERS: SECRET WARS, meaning we could be waiting a while before anyone’s cast in the role.
