According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios’ upcoming X-MEN ’97 animated series is being pushed from its originally planned Fall 2023 release date to early 2024. This probably comes as no surprise to the fans who’ve been following the progress of the show since its announcement. Outside of a couple Comic Con panels and early merch, Marvel has been pretty quiet on providing details or promoting the Disney+ show, which THR sources describe as “retro” and “a love letter to the original.”
Here’s the current slate and their release windows. Sadly, Ironheart, Daredevil: Born Again, and Wonder Man have been taken off the calendar, so we could be waiting a while for those.
- Loki Season 2 – October 6
- What If Season 2 – Christmas
- Echo – January 2024
- X-Men 97 – Early 2024
- Agatha: Darkhold Diaries – Late 2024
- Ironheart – TBD
- Daredevil: Born Again – TBD
- Wonder Man – TBD
