The Uncanny Experience fan convention is coming back next year for a 2nd round of X-Men fandom goodness at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters aka the Minneapolis Club in Minnesota. Running from September 28-29, 2024, the two day event (not officially endorsed by Marvel Entertainment) was “created by fans for fans who desire to be mutant and proud.”
Special guests announced so far include famed comic book writer Chris Claremont, and X-MEN ’97 voice actors Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm) and George Buza (Beast). Last year’s event included longtime Colossus film actor Daniel Cudmore, and X-Men: The Animated Series director Larry Houston, with talent Lenore Zann (Rogue), Cal Dodd (Wolverine), and Alyson Court (Jubilee).
According to the website, “the convention features panel programming, a Mutant Market, cosplay contest, and an epic after party. It’s more than an event; it’s a tapestry of adventures celebrating diversity, empowerment, and the boundless potential within every mutant.”
