THE MARVELS director Nia DaCosta played coy while addressing the X-MEN tease in recent promo, which has the “X” in “Next” lingering onscreen as all the other letters fade away. “So cheeky, so cheeky…” she told Jake’s Takes, laughing. The final trailer also features a blink-and-you-miss-it scene showing a monitoring device with an “X” symbol on it.
Asked what her dream X-Men project would be, she revealed: “I really like Scott Summers and Storm together. Their dynamic of fighting over who should be the head of the X-Men has always been really fun for me to read in the Chris Claremont run. So I think some sort of Scott/Storm team-up movie would be fun.”
The Marvels arrives in theaters on Friday, November 10.
