Earlier today while introducing Dogpool, actor Ryan Reynolds confirmed that DEADPOOL 3 is releasing in Summer 2024. Actors are now able to work and promote their films as the SAG-AFTRA strike came to an end this week. This came as welcome news to fans, who assumed there’s no way they could finish in time for their original May 3, 2024 release date. That turns out to be true, as the Shawn Levy film has been pushed back nearly three months to July 26, 2024.
That was the original date for CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD, which has now moved all the way to February 14, 2025. Yep, Marvel Studios is giving up their prime release date that kicks off the Summer. Other delays include THUNDERBOLTS (from December 20, 2024 to July 25, 2025) and BLADE (from February 14, 2025 to November 7, 2025).
