Kelsey Grammer has finally acknowledged his surprise cameo at the end of Marvel Studios’ THE MARVELS as Dr. Henry “Hank” McCoy aka the Beast! Speaking with The Wrap, the actor, who previously appeared as the character in both X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) and Days of Future Past (2014), revealed that we’re likely to see the blu furball again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“It is my hope that you will [see him again],” he said. “I can say with a certain amount of confidence that you will. I would love to.” Grammer reiterated that he was “very pleased” with how the response was for his cameo, saying “a lot of people got in touch” with him to share their eXcitement.
“I’ve always wanted to play him again. I see him as an extraordinary character, a real character of gravitas and importance in our culture,” he continued. “I’m delighted Beast is back and hope he’s back in a real way.”
Same here, Kesley! So where might we see him next? The most likely spots are Deadpool 3 (July 26, 2024), and the upcoming Avengers films tentatively planned for 2026 and 2027, respectively.
The Marvels is now playing in theaters.
