A First Look At Deadpool 3 Is Imminent As Principal Photography Concludes

Ryan Reynolds announced that filming on Deadpool 3 concluded on Wednesday, January 24! “The suit hides blood. Also sweat…,” he wrote. But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and Hugh Jackman… all under the stalwart leadership of [director] Shawn Levy.”

Levy responded, writing “Massive gratitude to this cast and crew. Post-Production starts at dawn.” He also wrote “[I] had the greatest time of my life shooting this movie.”

Co-star Hugh Jackman responded: “What a ride! I’ve loved every minute of making this movie. Well … not the 4a training or the steamed fish and veg 4 x a day for 6 months but the other 93.2%. A collective thank you to the entire cast and crew. You are all aces! If you’re reading this and think I mean you, I do. To two of my best mates Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy, I literally couldn’t have done this without you. LITERALLY! July 26th can’t come soon enough. Time to shave.” And shave he did!

We can’t forget about Dogpool! The merc with a woof celebrated the end of filming with a new behind the scenes photo. “That’s a wrap on my first movie,” some human wrote. “We worked our pants off but it was worth it. Everyone on set was the utmost professional, especially Shawn Levy and Hugh Jackman. And a super-hero big bow-wow-WOW to the entire crew. No matter the challenge, you rose to the task and made it look easy. I wouldn’t change a thing. Except maybe one person who was a little extra to deal with. But don’t worry, I’ve forgiven him. I even left him a very special warm, personal gift in his trailer.”

DP3 is confirmed to arrive in theaters on July 26, 2024. A first look is expected ahead of Super Bowl, with a teaser trailer and commercial prepared in time for the big game.
