Fan FiX: POP STAR/ X-TRAINEE – Alison Uses Light To Defeat Sound

1995. Alison adjusts the special earbuds designed by Professor McCoy which shields her (and her new teammates) from the lethal sound waves emitted by a mysterious villain known as Sonyc. Scott, Ororo, Kurt, Peter, and Jubilation gather around her, with looks of determination…and some concern.

Scott speaks with urgency, “Alison, we need your help on this one. Your light-based powers are our best chance against Sonyc’s deadly sound attacks.”

She nods, her confidence radiating. “Don’t worry, you guys. I’ve got this. Let’s stick together and take down Sonyc before she causes any more chaos.”

They fly into Queens, where Sonyc is wreaking havoc. As they approach, the air vibrates with unsettling, high-pitched sound waves. Everyone winces, their earbuds doing their best to mitigate the harmful effects.

Jubilation quips, “Yo, this isn’t nearly as loud as your concerts!”

Alison flashes a reassuring smile. “Not even close!”

After landing, they navigate the chaotic streets, with Sonyc’s presence becoming more apparent. The ground shakes heavily with pulses of sound. Suddenly, she emerges! A blurry, menacing figure surrounded by a wall of ear-piercing noise.

Alison steps forward, her eyes focused with determination. “This ends now, Sonyc.”

Sonyc laughs maniacally, her sound waves intensifying. The team braces themselves, and Alison unleashes a burst of blinding light, creating a barrier to dampen the sound.

Ororo joins in, conjuring gusts of wind to disperse the sound waves. “Alison, now’s your chance!”

Alison focuses her powers, creating dazzling light constructs that enveloped Sonyc. The villain struggles, unable to counter the onslaught of light and sound.

Peter zips around, aiding his teammates. “Faster, team! We’ve almost got her!”

Jubilation unleashes her powers, Kurt teleports strategically, both disrupting Sonyc’s powers.

In the midst of the battle, Scott directs the team. “Keep it up! Alison, let’s amplify the light and finish this!”

Alison nods, intensifying her powers. The combined efforts of her powers and Scott’s force blasts overwhelm Sonyc. She staggers, defeated by the blinding spectacle of light and energy.

The team gathers around her. Scott smiling, and acknowledging her leadership.

“You did it, Alison!”

Alison humbly replies with a wink, “We’re a team, Scott. We did it together.”

Scott smirks. “Trainee…”

Everyone laughs.

The team returns to the mansion, victorious but aware of the ongoing challenges they face. Little did they know this mission would strengthen their bond and mark the beginning of Alison’s legacy as a vital member of their team.

Scott addresses the group, “Great work, everyone. Alison, you were crucial out there. We couldn’t have defeated Sonyc without you. Welcome to the team!”

Alison blushes, brushing her hair behind her ear, “Oh Scott…stop! We all played our part.”

Ororo gives both a hard side-eye, adding “The way you channeled your powers to counteract Sonyc’s attacks was impressive indeed.”

Kurt chimes in, “And did you see the look on Sonyc’s face when Jubilation’s powers went off? Priceless!”

Jubilation grinned, “Yeah, that was the highlight for sure!”

Peter, leaning against a wall with a smirk, adds, “Maybe we should change our name? I know! The Razzle Dazzles, anyone?”

His banter lightened the mood further. However, their respite was short-lived as a holographic projection flickers to life in the center of the room.

Professor McCoy’s voice resonates, “I commend you on your success against Sonyc. However, this incident has unveiled an even greater threat. I’ll brief you further when I return.”

Scott nods, “Yes, Hank. We’ll be ready for whatever comes our way.”

As the hologram disappears, Alison feels a mix of emotions – pride in their victory, determination to face future challenges, and a growing sense of family with her fellow teammates.”

Later that evening, Alison can’t help but reflect on her journey from being a Pop star to becoming a superhero.

Scott raises his glass, “To Alison, our shining star.”

The sound of their glasses clinking echoes throughout the room, creating whispers of light.

Staring deeply into each other’s eyes, Alison and Scott kiss…
