Netflix has released the official first look at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher S4. Hemworth takes over the role from Henry Cavill, who originally portrayed the character. Seasons 4 and 5 are currently being shot back-to-back in the UK, which will conclude the series and complete the adaption of Andrzej Sapkowskin’s book.
According to TUDUM by Netflix, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri, who are separated and traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons. If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire — and finding one another again.
In other news, an official trailer for the final season of Sweet Tooth has dropped. Based off the DC Comics’ Vertigo comic book written and drawn by Jeff Lemire, the series takes place in a mostly rural post-apocalyptic setting where some creatures are human/animal hybrids.
The Witcher S4 is currently undated; Sweet Tooth releases on June 6.
