DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Breaks Records With Ticket Sales; Tracking For BIG Opening

AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine gained “more Day 1 ticket sales at AMC than for any other R-rated movie ever.” Over 200,000 fans have already purchased their tickets on the theater chain platform.

Ticketing provider Fandango reported that sales were the best of the year so far, including best for the entire franchise and any R-rated film.

According to insiders at The Hollywood Reporter, first day sales are estimated to be in the $8-$9 million range. This is making Hollywood eXcited, as the film is being forecast to open over $100 million; something no other film has accomplished in 2024. Truly epic.

Deadpool & Wolverine arrives in theaters on July 26.
