Netflix has released an official trailer for Supacell, a new series created by Rapman. It follows a group of seemingly ordinary people from South London who unexpectedly develop super powers. They don’t seem to have a connection between them aside from being Black.
When five ordinary South Londoners discover they have extraordinary powers, it’s down to one man to bring them together to save the woman he loves.
The show stars Josh Tedeku, Nadine Mills, Giacomo Mancini, Adelayo Adedavo, Tosin Cole, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Calvin Demba, Yasmin Monet Prince, Michael Salami, Sanchez Brown, Travis Jay and Eddie Marsan.
Streaming June 27 on Netflix.
