the SUPER: The Voices Behind BATMAN: CAPED CRUSADER Revealed

Prime Video released a new cast announcement teaser for DC’s Batman: Caped Crusader, revealing the talent behind the heroes and villains of the upcoming animated series.

The show reimagines the mythology of Batman through the visionary lens of executive producers J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves and Bruce Timm.

The voice cast includes Mckenna Grace, Toby Stephens, Reid Scott, Dan Donahue, Gary Anthony Williams, Jason Watkins, John DiMaggio, Krystal Joy Brown, Michelle C. Bonilla, Eric Morgan Stuart, Tom Kenny, Minnie Driver, Diedrich Bader, Jamie Chung, Christina Ricci and Hamish Linklater as Batman.

While the names aren’t connected with their characters, the announcement includes the main antagonists: The Penguin, Gentleman Ghost, Harley Quinn, Natalia Knight, Firebug, Two-Face, Clayface and Catwoman.

Synopsis: Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human—the BATMAN. His one-man crusade for justice attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.

Batman: Caped Crusader premieres August 1 on Prime Video.
