Deadpool & Wolverine crossed the $1 billion milestone at the global box office after its 3rd weekend in cinemas. The Marvel Studios film remained at no. 1, earning nearly $54.2 million (a strong -44% drop) in the states, placing it at $494.3 million.
Internationally, it has earned $535.2 million, bringing its worldwide total to more than $1.029 billion.
Director Shawn Levy’s blockbuster starring Ryan Reynolds & Hugh Jackman is the highest-grossing R-rated picture in the USA. It will become the largest R-Rated film of all time, globally, when it surpasses Joker ($1.079 billion) this week.
