the SUPER: Watch New Trailer For Sony’s KRAVEN THE HUNTER

Sony Pictures has released a new trailer Kraven the Hunter, the next entry in their Spider-Man (less?) universe. Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Russell Crowe, the film follows the visceral, action-packed origin story of how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be.

Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.

Directed by J.C. Chandor with a story by Richard Wenk, the screenplay is written by Wenk and Art Marcum & Matt Holloway. Avid Arad, Matt Tolmach and David Householter serve as producers. The film also stars Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola and Christopher Abbott.

Kraven the Hunter arrives in theaters on December 13.
