Speaking with ComicBook, Beast actor Kelsey Grammer revealed that “there are some conversations” about him returning to the X-Men role after his cameo in Marvel Studios’ The Marvels (2023).
“There’s nothing I can talk about,” Grammer said. “What I do know is that there was a huge sort of outburst when I showed up at the end of The Marvels, I guess it was. The response was really almost… it wasn’t unexpected. There’d be some response, but it was pretty overwhelming, and so there are some conversations.”
The end of the film found Monica Rambeau trapped on another Earth, one where the X-Men appear to be alive and well. While we haven’t had any updates on her situation on screen, there are a couple major projects which could tie directly into it: Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
We’ll have to wait and see what Marvel Studios decides to do with the X-Men moving forward. Now the question is whether Grammer’s involvement will be short or longterm.
