Scooper Jeff Sneider has dropped an interesting rumor (emphasis on rumor) during this week’s The Hot Mic. According to some rumblings hes heard, Marvel Studios might be looking at 28 year old Harris Dickinson (Babygirl) for the role of Scott Summers aka Cyclops in the MCU.
Sneider makes sure to note this isn’t anything concrete and to take it with a grain of salt for now, although he knows Marvel likes the actor and is potentially eyeing him for future projects.
Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) has previously been rumored for the role of Jean Grey via Sneider as well. At 22, this would put a 6 year gap between the two actors — if they obtain these coveted roles.
A slew of other casting rumors have hit the social medias in the last few weeks, majority of which are nothing more than viral fan casts with no truth to them.
Marvel Studios X-Men reboot is rumored to follow Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027 or 2028, with some of the characters making their debut in the event film.
