Netflix has released the official trailer for The Sandman Season 2, giving a first look at the next chapter in Dream’s story. The new season will be released in two volumes: Volume 1 arrives on July 3, 2025, followed by Volume 2 on July 24, with an additional bonus episode dropping July 31. The trailer hints at dramatic confrontations within the family of the Endless, introducing key figures like Destiny, Delirium, and The Prodigal. Tom Sturridge returns as Dream, whose journey forces him to face the consequences of choices made long ago.
Season 2 will adapt some of the most beloved arcs from Neil Gaiman’s original comic series, including “Season of Mists” and “The Song of Orpheus.” Dream’s descent into Hell to rescue his lost love Nada sets up a clash with powerful adversaries such as Lucifer, played by Gwendoline Christie, and mythological figures like Odin and Loki. With returning cast members like Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Death and Mason Alexander Park as Desire, plus new additions including Esmé Creed-Miles as Delirium, the upcoming season promises a rich and layered continuation of this dark fantasy epic.
