XMF/the SUPER

X-Men Films And Superhero Entertainment News — Trailers, Industry Coverage, Reviews, Original Comics: SUPER (2025-), Mutant Fandom And More

As a lifelong Marvel fan, being at Comic-Con International in San Diego is always a thrill. This year, one of the absolute highlights was seeing the screen-used costumes from The Fantastic Four: First Steps on display. With the film now playing in theaters, Marvel Studios gave fans a chance to step right into the MCU by showcasing the incredible suits worn by the new Fantastic Four and the villainous Galactus.

Right there in front of attendees are the actual costumes worn by Pedro Pascal (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing). While mostly uniform in look, each suit has a distinct design, and a level of detail that you just can’t fully appreciate until you see it in person.

But nothing prepared me for seeing the practical Galactus suit up close. Towering, intricate, and completely commanding, the armor worn by Ralph Ineson in the film was on full display. It was a perfect blend of comic-accurate design and cinematic realism. I couldn’t take my eyes off it. It’s one thing to see Galactus on the big screen, but being eye-level with that suit was surreal.

This wasn’t just a promotional display, it felt like a real tribute to the legacy of Marvel’s first family and the creative energy behind their big-screen debut in the MCU. Seeing these costumes up close makes me appreciate the film even more. It’s clear Marvel went all out with practical effects and grounded design work.

If you’re heading to the convention floor, don’t miss out on this impressive display!
