An international trailer for Return to Silent Hill has dropped (thanks to JoBlo), and this one’s even better than the original trailer! Director Christophe Gans returns to the atmospheric nightmare he originally brought to the big screen in 2006. Teaming up with Konami and Cineverse, the new film dives back into the unsettling world of the legendary video game series.
This new chapter follows James (Jeremy Irvine), who is drawn back to the cursed town after receiving a puzzling letter connected to the woman he once loved. What he finds is a warped version of the place he remembers. It’s haunting, hostile, and full of figures that blur the line between memory and madness. As James pushes further into Silent Hill’s twisted reality, the truth becomes harder to grasp, and his grip on sanity begins to unravel.
The cast includes Hannah Emily Anderson, Jeremy Irvine, Robert Strange, Evie Templeton, Pearse Egan, Eve Macklin, Emily Carding, and more. The screenplay comes from Christophe Gans, Hiroyuki Owaku, and William Josef Schneider, with Gans once again steering the unsettling vision that made the original film a cult favorite.
Return to Silent Hill arrives in theaters on January 23, 2026.
