Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is stepping into the Marvel Comics spotlight in a very unexpected way. To celebrate Ultimate Endgame (2025) #1, Feige personally drew ultra-rare X-Men and Fantastic Four variant sketch covers that will be randomly inserted into Marvel’s True Believers Blind Bags, now available at local comic book shops.

The sketches themselves are intentionally simple and charming. For the X-Men cover, Feige draws a bold, hand-sketched “X,” surrounded by loose lines and a handwritten note, including the eXciting phrase “The future,” which is a clear tease that has fandom speculating about what lies ahead for Marvel’s mutants. On the Fantastic Four variant, Feige leans into self-aware humor, sketching a rough “4” and adding the note “Producer not illustrator!”

These Feige-drawn covers are part of a much larger collectible event. The X-Men blind bags include 500+ one-of-a-kind sketch covers, each brought to life by more than 20 legendary Marvel artists, making every pull a potential treasure.
