Rumors about who might join Marvel Studios’ future X-Men project continue to circulate online, and one of the names recently pulled into the conversation is rising actress Trinity Bliss. During a conversation with The Direct at the Saturn Awards, the young star addressed speculation that she could be in the running to portray the fan-favorite mutant Jubilee in Marvel Studios’ upcoming reboot set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Bliss, who stars in Avatar: Fire and Ash, acknowledged that she has seen the rumors circulating across social media. While she admitted the possibility sounded exciting, the actress clarified that she has not been officially cast as the explosive mutant hero.

“Oh my gosh. When I saw them, I was like, ‘Oh, that would be really cool.’ Like, ‘What do you know that I don’t?’ But I mean, I love the X-Men side of things, so that would be really cool,” she said. “But, I have not been cast as Jubilee.”

The conversation also touched on the sometimes unpredictable nature of Hollywood casting announcements. With Marvel projects often kept under tight secrecy, actors occasionally learn about their roles just before the announcement, sometimes even at the same time as the public.

For now, Bliss’ comments appear to pour cold water on the idea that she has already secured the role of Jubilee. Still, her enthusiasm will likely keep the conversation going among the fandom, who are eagerly speculating about who will bring the beloved mutant to life.

As Marvel Studios continues laying the groundwork for its next era, casting rumors like these are likely to remain a major part of the conversation until they officially reveal their lineup of mutants.
