The fight is officially on.
Paramount Pictures and Legendary have unveiled the long-awaited official trailer for Street Fighter, bringing one of the most iconic video game franchises of all time roaring onto the big screen. The trailer looks poised to be a cinematic experience that blends the classic arcade energy and fun with a story-driven edge featuring a cast of interesting characters.
Set in 1993, the film follows estranged fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo), whose fractured bond is put to the ultimate test. When the enigmatic Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament, the stage is set for a brutal showdown fueled by fists, fate, and fury.
But this isn’t just another tournament.

Beneath the surface lies a deadly conspiracy that threatens to tear everything apart, forcing Ryu and Ken to confront not only each other, but the unresolved demons of their past. The stakes couldn’t be higher: if they fail, it’s game over.

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, Street Fighter looks to capture the spirit of the beloved franchise while elevating it for modern audiences. The trailer teases a mix of high-impact action and fan-favorite moves, including Hadoukens and devastating roundhouse kicks.
Street Fighter hits theaters everywhere on October 16.
