Hasbro Unveils Exclusive X-MEN ’97 Marvel Legends’ Professor X & Hoverchair Set for San Diego Comic-Con 2026

Hasbro is bringing a major piece of mutant history to San Diego Comic-Con International this July with the reveal of a brand-new X-Men ’97 exclusive in its Marvel Legends Series lineup. The spotlight falls on none other than Professor Charles Xavier, the founder of the X-Men, in a highly detailed collectible set featuring his iconic Hoverchair.

The Marvel Legends Series X-Men ’97 Professor Charles Xavier & Hoverchair (SDCC 2026 Exclusive) celebrates one of Marvel’s most influential characters, reimagining him with premium animation-accurate design and an impressive array of accessories. Xavier, known as one of the world’s most powerful telepaths and a visionary for mutant-human coexistence, is fully articulated with over 20 points of movement, allowing collectors to pose him seated inside his signature Hoverchair.

The Hoverchair itself is more than just a display piece, as it features removable blast effects that allow collectors to stage it in offensive mode, a psychic effect attachment for Xavier’s powers, and a clear display stand that gives the illusion of flight above any shelf or diorama setup. Additional detailing includes control panel buttons and intricate sculpt work that brings the animated X-Men ’97 aesthetic into physical form.

Collectors will also receive a range of accessories, including an alternate head sculpt, three interchangeable hands for psychic power displays, and a removable helmet.
