Comic Con: MARVEL CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS Returns To SDCC With Demos, Tournaments, And Exclusive Giveaways

Kabam is bringing Marvel Contest of Champions back to Comic-Con International in San Diego, giving players another chance to jump into the action during this year’s convention festivities.

From July 23-26, attendees can visit the Marvel x Moonrock Gaming Lounge at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina (San Diego Ballroom) to experience hands-on gameplay, compete in tournaments, score exclusive giveaways, and get an early look at the game’s newest content.

One of the biggest attractions this year is Towers, the brand-new game mode that challenges players to battle their way to the top. Fans can try the mode at dedicated demo stations, and everyone who participates will receive an exclusive Marvel Contest of Champions pin along with a spin on the prize wheel for in-game rewards and physical prizes.

If you’re unable to make it to San Diego, Kabam has good news. The exact same Towers quest will also be available to play in-game, allowing Summoners around the world to join in from home.

For players looking to prove they’re among the best, Kabam will also host daily on-stage tournaments. Experienced competitors can attempt a high-difficulty demo to qualify, with the four fastest players each day advancing to the live finals.

The tournament bracket will feature:

• Match 1: #1 Seed vs. #4 Seed
• Match 2: #2 Seed vs. #3 Seed
• Finals: Winner of Match 1 vs. Winner of Match 2

A new Marvel Contest of Champions Champion will be crowned each day from Thursday through Sunday.
