Marvel Studios has released a new official trailer for Avengers: Doomsday during D23. In this epic entry, universes collide and the Multiverse Saga begins its final chapter. Beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and ultimately face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered. This epic film will lay the foundation for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Several original actors from the X‑Men franchise join the cast in their iconic roles, including Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto, Kelsey Grammer as Hank McCoy / Beast, Alan Cumming as Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Scott Summers / Cyclops, and Channing Tatum as Remy LeBeau / Gambit.
Robert Downey Jr. returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a new role as Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom, serving as the major antagonist.
