Inde Navarrette Says It “Feels Phenomenal” Being Cast As Rogue For Marvel Studios’ X-MEN

Inde Navarrette’s career has seen a spike since her appearance in Obsession, and being cast in Marvel Studios’ upcoming X-Men reboot. When spotted in Los Angeles signing autographs (video provided via Sociedade X-Men), she said “Oh, it feels phenomenal,” when asked about being cast as the mutant Rogue. “It’s such an honor. It’s insane.”

Rogue is a powerful mutant known for her ability to absorb another person’s memories, powers, and life force through physical contact. Because her powers are difficult to control, she often struggles with isolation and fears hurting the people she cares about. Despite this, Rogue is fiercely loyal, confident, and compassionate, making her a strong and memorable member of the team.

Navarrette is rumored to make her MCU debut in Avengers: Secret Wars (2027) before X-Men gets underway for it’s May 5, 2028 theatrical release. That might be the case for a number of Marvel’s new mutants – we’ll see.
