The actress, who is set to portray Rogue in Marvel Studios’ upcoming X-Men reboot, recently spoke with the Los Angeles Times about her preparation for the highly anticipated role, revealing just how seriously she is approaching the opportunity.
“I’m doing everything humanly possible because I love that character. I’ve studied that character. I want to do it justice for myself, for Jake, for what they want to portray and also for what I as a fan want her to be like,” Navarrette said. “I’m doing everything, exclamation point.”
Navarrette will be bringing Rogue into the Marvel Cinematic Universe under the direction of Jake Schreier, who is helming Marvel Studios’ new take on the X-Men.
