Will Halle Berry return as Storm in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST? Director Bryan Singer tells E! Online that “it depends on how it works out,” hinting at the possibility of the actress returning. “I loved working with Halle, so all I can say is we’ll see what happens.” he continues. “I’m excited about all the actors. It’s an incredible cast. It’s a great story and it involves a lot of stuff that hasn’t been in X-Men films before. New kids of technology, science fiction aspects.”
Singer mentioned last week that Fox was still negotiating with an actor, and Berry may be that very person. With production beginning April 15th in Montreal, we’ll know for sure soon enough.
Based off one of the most iconic comic book arcs, the film will focus on one or more mutants from a dark future going back in time to warn Charles Xavier (played by James McAvoy) and the X-Men of the past of an impending, history-changing event.

Now we need Charlize Theron as Emma Frost, she also works with FOX in prometheus. So, pick her Bryan she is the best choice. Come on just doit!!

Honestly, Halle what are you waiting on? You don’t have much going on with your career anymore. Sure, The Call, comes out next month, but it looks like a wait for it on DVD type of movie. Now this movie is filled with top notch actors and actresses it’ll do you good. It’s obvious Bryan wa referring to her when he stated he was in negotiations with someone.
1. E-Online asked about Storm (Halle) and Mystique (Rebecca) and Bryan totally ignored Mystique and only talked about Storm.
2. When asked about her being in the movie his response was, “we’ll see how it works out”. Her casting obviously.
3. He once again states he ‘loves’ working with her.
Now all we have to do is wait or his announcement on Twitter, which I check constantly 24/7.
If Halle honestly doesn’t sign up then she was asking for her movie career to turn into a television one.
Guys, I don’t think we should be to hard on Halle or any actor for that matter. These people have more going on behind the scenes than we know. She has a family and life to think about. She also is a pro actress and has been in this business for a long time, so if negotiations are taking this long I’m sure there is a reason for it. I have a feeling we are gonna hear that she has signed on anytime now. I have a good feeling about seeing Halle in this what should be an epic movie! STORM woot woot!
Note to Bryan, please no platinum blond wig for Storm. It should be white hair with very subtle silver streaks if anything. Longer hair would be awesome!
I agree with the white LONG hair with NO baby bangs! With no bangs at all actually, and layers would be nice! that would definitely be comic book Storm hair IMO.
I think this is just a ploy to get us talking. Also media asked him about Berry. They sure know that she’s big for the franchise as well. So they are playing with us I guess.
What do you mean by ploy? Also, hasn’t Halle always been last to be cast in these films? I read somewhere that she was one of the last to be cast for X-men and after the 2 year contract for X1 and X2 she was the last to be announced to return in The Last Stand. Maybe that’s the case here and once again she’ll be the last to be cast.
Based on the above I think the likelihood is that she’ll either a) Not be in the movie, or b) Things are all hemmed up because she’s asking for more money and more screentime (again – sigh)

Hoping she does as well. If I were one of the journalist asking questions I’d bring up Jean Grey and Cyclops to Bryan and not just Storm. This movie consists of TIME TRAVEL meaning they could have scenes too.

Yeah.. Agree with you QueenBitch but still I think Jean and Cyclops have scenes but maybe some of them afraid that its just a cameo which the fans totally don’t like to see in the whole film..
I know Bryan is really working on this and tried to manipulate everything.. I hope he does.. Who knows, maybe Jean and Cyclops appears in his alternate future..
Recast Storm. That’s the best they can do.
In my opinion mate.. that’s the worst idea of all.. re casting a familiar actor in a familiar role can destroy the whole film.. and confuse the viewers at the same time..

Halle is coming back as Storm. I know she says it’s 90 percent sure but it’s gonna happen and I couldn’t be more thrilled about this!! Actually Halle was signed right after Patrick and Ian as far as I understand for the first X-Men movie. I also would like to address the double standard that people seem to have regarding Halle and giving her a hard time for wanting more money or her character better care and written parts..with more to do. I’m pretty sure no one has anything to say when Hugh or any other successful male actor wants more money or takes longer to negociate deals. Hmmm could it be because she’s a woman? Just saying.
