Director, Bryan Singer has tweeted this first look at James McAvoy (young Charles Xavier) on the set of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. Sitting in what appears to be the traditional motorized wheelchair from the original “X-Men” trilogy, the actor is dressed to represent the 1973 “past” timeline in the film, wearing an open-collar, pattern shirt and brown pants.
In March, McAvoy said “I think it’s going to be quite a dark journey compared to the caddish, almost playboy character that we turned him into in the first movie. I think it will be going through a darker place to ultimately get a sorted Professor X that we’re used to seeing come the third movie. This movie might be a little bit more of a passing through the crucible for him.”

A darker Professor X? Looks like a sassy one, lol.. this is really cool mate..
Funny pic xD
I think that this will be the scene where he meets future Xavier.
He probably gets depressed about Moira, hence her not being in the film and possibly talk about the Muir Island-research facility in Ireland (also include banshee has moved their)
He is not in good shape… I mean look at him. He was a playboy, a womaniser… he lost it all with the shot in his back. I wonder if they will play this through, make him an addict to alcohol or something. Would be cool and give his character and Stewart’s alterego more depth and personality.
Yeah, it definitely looks like he’s going through “something” in this film.
but check out the hairstyle, its a punky and groovy.. this is much better than the first one..
