Vulture has the scoop on what presence X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is going to have at Comic Con this Saturday. According to the site’s sources, the “Bryan Singer–helmed film will be sending over a dozen cast members to San Diego to tease the ambitious sequel.”
There may be official confirmations for two character in the film. Bolivar Trask, played by Peter Dinklage, and Bill Stryker, played by Josh Helman.
The site also has an intriguing synopsis of the film, saying “Ellen Page returns as Kitty from the Brett Ratner–directed X-Men: The Last Stand, but this time she uses her powers to send Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine back into the past, where he encounters the younger mutants played by James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender. However, something bad happens to Kitty during the time-travel trance, and while Wolverine is still under her spell, the other X-Men must race to find a mutant who can siphon Kitty’s powers and bring their friend back to the future.”
Rogue to the rescue?
In other DOFP news, director Bryan Singer tweeted this still of Lucas Till as Havok. Seems the “First Class” mutant was away, fighting a war? U.S. military involvement ended on August 15, 1973 as a result of the Case–Church Amendment passed by the U.S. Congress.

SWEET! HAVOK IS IN! But where’s Banshee?
ROGUE TO THE RESCUE! I keeping my finger crossed that Rogue from the future can fly and gain superhuman strength..
She won’t. There’s no reason for her to have those powers by the sound of it. 🙂 Time to get over it.. that was the 90s.
but if she gain her power back, lots of possibilities that she will kick some badass mutants and sentinels in this one.. 😀
Flight and super strength aren’t her powers anymore.
just have faith mate. She can absorb anyone’s powers.. let’s just wait. 😀
Since when the hell does Kitty have that kind of power??!
She doesn’t!
I suspect that the folks at the Vulture are missing information, aren’t reporting all their information, or aren’t interpreting the information they have properly…
I think the broadstrokes of what they’re saying are probably accurate, but the smaller details have gotten garbled by a reporter who doesn’t quite understand their subject.
Happens all the time…
at some point, maybe they use some device to upgrade her phasing ability which she can used to passed through the other timeline.
That’s possible. Good thinking.
Still opens the door for Cyclops to return to the Film. I love how these actors are being released deep into filming.
Anyone else think that that’s Ink sitting behind Havok and this is an all mutant army troop?
based on that guy’s tattoos, probably.. but it’s a cool idea to have a mutant army..
